Trying to understand the difference between something you said and the app. You state, "If you have family members traveling together with you like your children who can't complete the procedures by themselves, you can register their information on their behalf", but the app says "When a family member undergoes immigration procedures at the same time they can be registered as family members traveling with you." Is there any reason you wouldn't want to put the whole family on one plan? is it because each individual needs to show a travel plan for themselves and its easier if adults show their own plan separately? Hi Yoko, great video. Quick question for you. I tried creating a member account under the "My Suica" option. I was able to enter ALL information except for postal code as it seems to require a Japan-based postal code (7 digits), which we do not have in US. Is there a way for foreigners to create a Suica card account with a card number so that I can attach my Shinkansen ticket to it? Thank you.

So if anyone else had the same problem as me in adding their details - like first and last name DOB - I just used Google translate to get the characters for my first and last name and your D.O.B in Japanese will be YYYY/MM/DD. For the zip code I just used random numbers id remember as that's the only thing that worked. Hope this helps others. commented by amaya below
